US Ambassador to Vietnam Michael W. Michalak inaugurated the first American Centre in Hanoi on April 3.

Ambassador Michalak said the centre, developed from the Information Resource Centre of the US embassy, would serve as a one-stop source of up-to-date information about all aspects of the US. It provides general information for the public as well as specialised information for government officials, scholars, researchers, journalists and post-graduate students.
