The United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organisation (UNESCO) has announced that the Cat Tien Biosphere Reserve was renamed the Dong Nai Biosphere Reserve and recognized as the world Biosphere Reserve .

UNESCO’s recognition of the Dong Nai Biosphere Reserve showed that the Management Board of Dong Nai Nature Reserve and Cultural Site had actively and effectively co-ordinated with the National Committee for the Man and the Biosphere (MAB) Programme in this connection.

The Cat Tien Biosphere Reserve which is home to 11 ethnic groups and is a model for sustainable and harmonious development between human beings and nature.

Cat Tien National Park is the seventh of 8 Biosphere Reserves of Vietnam recognized by UNESCO. The Park offers visitors a range of ecological and cultural activities in a stunning landscape.  It's a place to refresh the body an soul, one of top destinations for Vietnam Travel.
