Ho Chi Minh City Television (HTV), Cat Tien Sa Events Company and the Hoan Vu Joint Stock Company (Unicorp) co-ordinated to organise the semi-final of the Miss Universe Vietnam 2008 in Nha Trang City ’s Vinpearl Land on May 24.

30 candidates competed in swimwear, traditional and evening dress events and 20 were selected to enter the final round which will be held at the same tourist and resort site in Nha Trang on May 31.
