The festival was co-organised by the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, the Vietnamese Students’ Association, the Ministry of Education and Training, FPT Corporation, and Vietnam Television. It aimed to meet young people’s demand for music and create a favourable environment for students to take part in and enjoy art performances.
The festival also held a contest for outstanding musicians and singers which drew more than 3,000 entries.
A gala dinner will be held on Dec. 6 to announce the winners, who will receive certificates of merit from the Vietnamese Students’ Association, trophies, cash, and gifts from sponsors. First place is worth VND20 million, VND10 million for second, and VND5 million for third.
