As scheduled, the classic drama Romeo and Juliet written by William Shakespeare will be performed in Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi from May 3-17.

The play will be cast by actors from the British theatre with Rachel Lynes and Dan Wilder in the roles of Romeo and Juliet and directed by stage manager Paul Stebbings.

This is part of a programme of international co-operation and exchange in the field of art and culture, which is being carried out by Le Quy Duong company from now until 2010, leading up to the 1000^th anniversary of Thang Long-Hanoi.

The troupe has been invited by Le Quy Duong under an agreement with the Performing Arts Department and the International Co-operation Department, under the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.
