A campaign of promotions showcasing the Italian lifestyle as well as the technologies used to make popular Italian products will be launched in several major cities across Vietnam, starting on June 18. 

The festival is being jointly held by the Italian Embassy, the Italian Trade Mission in Vietnam and several Italian businesses.

According to Italy’s commercial counsellor Marco Saladini, the events, to be held in Ho Chi Minh City, Da Nang and Hoi An, will bring both countries’ businesses together to discuss new technologies, seek out new partners and promote Italian products in the Vietnamese market.

An exhibition of high-quality wines from 11 leading wine producers in Italy, France and Spain will open the festival. It will be followed by a wide range of events, including a coffee-making competition and a seminar on Italian enamelled tiles, to introduce new products.

Aside from the high-tech products, Italy’s unique cuisine will also be highlighted.

According to the Italian Trade Mission, a similar event took place in Vietnam in 2008, attracting 12,000 visitors.
