Korean calligraphies of Uncle Ho’s poems on display

A collection of 52 works by Republic of Korean calligraphers, featuring poems from the Prison Diary of Ho Chi Minh, is being showcased at an exhibition beginning on May 31 in central Thua Thien-Hue province.

The exhibition is being jointly held by the Vietnam-Korea Friendship Association and the Korea Calligraphy Association (KCA), as RoK calligraphers want to show their respect and admiration for President Ho Chi Minh.

We want to bring President Ho Chi Minh and his poems to the RoK, said the Chairman of the KCA, Choi Chang Joon, adding that the event will help to promote mutual understanding between the two countries.

The collection, which has been exhibited in seven major RoK cities already, will be donated to the Ho Chi Minh Museum in Thua Thien-Hue after the exhibition.

The event will run until June 13.
