A map of Vietnam made from 1,000 gold dragons worth nearly VND1 billion will be displayed at “Quang Nam Culture-Tourism Week” in Hanoi at the end of November.
The map measures six metres in height and three metres in width and has the figure of a dragon looking to the East Sea.
Each province, city and island is marked by gold-plated dragons in different shapes and poses.
The artisan Ngoc Minh also plans to cast a statue of a rising dragon in pure gold, to be put on the map at the position of Hanoi capital city when the map is exhibited at the 1,000 anniversary of ThangLong-Hanoi next year.
