Providing vocational guidance for Vietnamese students in France

The Vietnamese Students’ Association in France will organise a fact-finding tour of the ARPE Company, a subsidiary of the French SNCF Group, for Vietnamese students on January 20.

The first fact-finding tour in 2011 is part of the “Vocational Guidance” programme which is being built by the association. It will help students to have a general view of the management system and a deeper understanding of a specific business. It will also provide them opportunities to establish ties with businesses and seek jobs.

The association plans to organise similar fact-finding tours every month or a two-month basis.

The association’s president, Hoang Nang Thang, said it will hold a seminar in March with the participation of many businesses, including those which are operating in Vietnam. They will inform Vietnamese students of work requirements in France and Vietnam to help them find jobs later.
