On October 27, Hanoi played the role as the host to hold a seminar on linking tourism initiatives across the northern provinces of Lao Cai, Quang Ninh and Ninh Binh and Hanoi.

In recent years, despite all these Northern provinces have had natural resource potential, tourism in Hanoi, Quang Ninh, Ninh Binh and Lao Cai has been still developing independently, and tourism links were not regarded regularly and actually, there were no linked tourism products.

At the workshop, delegates focused on better cooperation in the areas of information sharing, advertising, as well as infrastructure investment and new tourism products.

In particular, participants committed to improving State management policy, encouraging closer cooperation, and looking at ways to make many tours to Vietnam more attractive to local and overseas markets.
