Nearly 100 photos offer a panoramic glimpse into Vietnamese culture and society. The photos are sourced from the Vietnam News Agency, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and individual photographers.
The sensational pictures introduce traditional festivals such as the buffalo fighting festival in the Hai Phong port city, the Thi Cau festival in Bac Ninh province and the Gau Tao festival in northern mountainous provinces.
Traditional Vietnamese arts like xam (folk music that was traditionally performed by blind people), ca tru (ceremonial singing), calligraphy and to he (toy figurines) are included in the exhibition.
The exhibition showcases the most spectacular beauty-spots and must-see destinations of ASEAN countries.
ATF is the greatest tourism event in the ASEAN region and attracts huge media attention. Industry policy makers and tourism businesses also flock to the show.
The photo exhibition runs until December 31 at the Exhibition House, 29 Hang Bai Street, Hanoi.
