The Tourists are taking photos of Macaques
It is called Monkey Islet because there are about 1000 macaques living in, but to be truthful, it is rather to be known as Hon Lao, an attractive destination. From Nha Trang, it takes the tourist 15 minutes on ship to reach the Money islet. Walking on the spacious road, the tourists will hear the sound of calling macaques, breaking the quietness of the atmosphere. Going toward the coconut trees, the tourists will fell dizzy with macaques groups gathering crowded and hopping amid the boughs and twigs as their afar guest - receiving way when they visit their “nation”.
The macaques here are very friendly but mischievous. The tourists can easily feed them up, take photos with them, but should be careful if you do not want to be robbed your items. However, you should not be too nervous when being stolen your cellphones, cameras or things like that because after climbing up the trees and discovering that these items are not edible, they will drop them down. With careful observation, the tourists can recognize the leading macaque who is dubbed “the monkey god”. He had many injuries on his body as a result of fighting over other macaques to become the leader. He looks very imposing, little running around and pretty serious. The strict facial expression of the monkey god also win the kudos for the tourists.
Hon lao islet is currently quite pristine with clear blue beach and snowy sand. The coconut trees rows limitless expand and curve around the islet, creating a wonderful picture. Under the brilliant sunshine and blue sky, the tourists can view panoramic islets in Nha Phu lagoon and Hon Thi, Hoa Lan streamlines…as if they are dressing the dark green shirts gently among the waves.
