A workshop on the potential and prospects of tourism in Vietnam has been held in Israel with the aim to boot Vietnam’s tourism and promoting images of its people and land to international markets.

Present at the event were 50 Israeli travel agencies and numerous local reporters.  

Dinh Xuan Luu, Vietnamese Ambassador in Israel noted the strong ties between the two nations and the great potential for new cooperative partnerships in future.

Mr Luu also introduced Vietnam’s current package of tourism products to the participants at the workshop.   

Israeli travel agencies valued the useful information about Vietnam’s tourism market and expressed hope that the Southeast Asian nation will continue to grow as an attractive destination for Israeli tourists.

They said that they will to co-ordinate more closely with the Vietnamese Embassy in Israel and their Vietnamese counterparts to promote tourism cooperation over the coming time.

The seminar was jointly organised by the Vietnamese Embassy in Israel in collaboration with Maman Aviation Company, the representative office of Vietnam Airlines in Israel and the Mekong International Tourism and Trading Co. Ltd.
