Viewers will have the chance to borrow films for their personal enjoyment from the first digital video library, which opened on March 15.

The library is the result of a co-operative effort between the Vietnamese Film Institute and the French Media Institute. It houses 100 digitalised Vietnamese cinematic works from various genres including feature films, documentaries and cartoons.

Free lending will be available until library cards are issued in the next six months.
