The Vietnam Sea Village Festival will take place in the central coastal province of Ninh Thuan from August 1-4.

The event is one of programmes in response to the National Tourism Year: South Central Coast – Phu Yen. This festival will be a new chance to promote Vietnam travel and attract many tourists to travel to Vietnam in general as well as develop Ninh Thuan travel. 

According to the plan approved by the PPC, Sea Village  Festival will take place from 01 to 4 August 2011.There will be a wide range of activities such as sports and arts exchanges and exhibitions to highlight traditional cultural characteristics of villages lying along the coast of Vietnam .

As planned, the opening ceremony will be held on 02/8/2011 at 16/4 Stage Square. The opening Art program, which will be performed by Vietnam national opera ballet and artists groups of Ninh Thuan province, have contents about Vietnam sea culture and be broadcasted live on VTV.

The festival offers chances for localities to promote cultural and marine tourism potential, contributing to heightening the public awareness of and love for the country’s sea and islands. On this occasion, there will be many travel tours to Ninh Thuan to enjoy Vietnam Sea Village Festival.
