The Vietnam Week will be launched in Japan from September 16-21 by the Vietnamese Embassy in Japan and the Japan-Vietnam Friendship Parliamentarians Union to mark the 35th anniversary of the establishment of the diplomatic ties between the two countries.

The information was released at a press briefing in Hanoi on September 5 by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. About 300,000 Japanese visitors are expected to attend the event, the biggest of its kind hosted by Vietnam.
