Mr. Thien said it was the first time Vietnam had attended the event to make the US and Asian business circles better aware of its business environment and products so that they can invest in the country more effectively.
He described the US market, particularly Southern California, as a huge market where many Vietnamese people are living, and looking for products from Asia, especially from Vietnam. He expressed his hope that Vietnamese businesses will find suppliers and distributors to bring Vietnamese goods to the US.
During two-day event, hundreds of thousands of consumers in California and its neighbouring areas visited the Vietnamese pavilion.
