At least 31 countries and 31 Vietnamese cities and provinces have registered to take part in the World Food Festival to be held in the southern province of Ba Ria-Vung Tau from July 21-25.

The organising board said that as of July 13, it had already raised nearly VND17 billion sponsoring 36 businesses and another VND150 million from food vouchers.

It is estimated that the festival will cost more than VND60 billion.

Approximately, 3,000 volunteers from universities, colleges and high schools in Ba Ria-Vung Tau province will take part in the event, by selling souvenirs, preparing and serving food and acting as translators.
