A ceremony was held at the Suoi Tien cultural and tourist resort in Ho Chi Minh City on August 31 to mark the Vu Lan religious festival, which falls on the 15th day of the 7th lunar month.

More than 500 monks and nuns, together with thousands of tourists and local people, attended the event to enjoy various art performances.

On the occasion, the management board of the Suoi Tien cultural and tourist resort donated over 300 tonnes of rice for poor households in HCM City and its surrounding areas.
