Young fashion designer Nguyen Hoang Tan from the southern province of Tien Giang won the Aquafina Pure Fashion 2008 contest held in HCM City on November 9 for his collection called Su Thang Hoa Cua Nuoc (Water’s Sublimation).

Tan, who is from HCM City’s Pedagogy University of Technology, will have the honour of representing Vietnam at the International Designer Show during Hong Kong Fashion Week 2009-the biggest show in Asia.

He will also receive a cash prize of VND20 million.

Second prize in the contest went to Nguyen Quoc Anh Vuong of HCM City for his collection Mua (Rain). Nguyen Thuy Hoa from Hanoi share third prize for her work Nguon Song (Wave Sources) with Nguyen Minh Ha from HCM City, whose collection was called Nhung Quy Ba Thuan Khiet (Purity Ladies).
