200 gifts, worth VND300,000 each, were handed out to the young people on the occasion of the new (Tet) Lunar New Year Festival.

Vu Thi Kim Thuy, a disabled young woman in District 8 was very touched when receiving her gift. She said the gifts encourage people like her to overcome their own obstacles.

Earlier, the youth federation had delivered 4,000 gifts to poor people and children in remote areas and provided free bicycles for some poor pupils in Can Gio district, HCM City.
