Mui Ne is the name of a beach which is a famous centre of tourism in Phan Thiet province and one of the destinations listed in national tourism area in Vietnam. The Mui Ne name originated from the common habit of fisherman who often goes here to get round of storm. “Mui” is the cape viewing to the sea; “Ne” means to hide. There is the combination of the yellow color of sands, the shining yellow of sunlight and the deep blue color of the sea which can fresh you with the clean and warm atmosphere.

Mui Ne is awarded nice, poetic and dreamlike beaches with long white sand beach nested in the blue flow of seawater. Especially, Mui Ne located in the tropical area where is little suffered from the South-East monsoon characterized by hot and dry climate, is the attractive destination for tourists for 4 seasons in a year. 

The best period to come to Mui Ne-Phan Thiet

Phan Thiet’s climate is dry for the whole year with the average temperature of 27 C degree. You can visit Phan Thiet in every season but the best period with great waves is from August to December and another period of comfortable winds is from November to April. You shouldn’t’ come to Mui Ne in July because the seaweed makes the seawater not as blue as that we expect so you will be offered a cheaper price for your visit.

Travel to Mui Ne-Phan Thiet is very easy because the routes of transportation have been extended and mended. To visit Mui Ne, you can take another choices such as flights, trains and transporting cars. 

If you depart for there from Hanoi, it is unfortunate for you that there is no direct flights available from the two ports Hanoi- Mui Ne. Therefore, if you want to go for Mui Ne, you should take a flight form Hanoi to Sai Gon and then take a car to travel to Mui Ne. Or you can take a flight from Hanoi to Cam Ranh airport in Nha Trang and continue your travel to Phan Thiet by the Open Tour brand vehicle from Nha Trang to Phan Thiet-Mui Ne.

If you travel from Ho Chi Minh city, there are also many choices for you to take up. Everyday, there are many Open Bus travel turns for Mui ne, Hon Rom like: Sai Gon tourist; the West depot; the East depot (70 thousand dong/ticket. Departure time: 09:00 and 14:00). Or you can go by boat from Ho Chi Minh city to Phan Thiet (Every morning at 7:05, there is always a train from Sai Gon to Phan Thiet on Saturday and Sunday with an extra departure in the afternoon. Except for the two days of weekends, remaining days are not crowded. From Phan Thiet station, it takes 30 to 40 minutes to go to Mui Ne by bus. If we take the Sai Gon - Phan Thiet train, we can bring motorbikes to go along with.

Dinh Thay Thim, located at the old forest, named Bau Cat forest in Tan Hai commune, Ham Tan district 70 kilometers Suth East of Phan Thiet city. For more than 100 years old, Thay Thim palace has become a destination for people to worship. Po Sah Inư Tower

Po Sah Inư Tower (also called as Pho Hai Cham Towel) is one group of vestiges remaining of the old Cham Pa Monarch. This towel is located on Ba Na hill in Phu Hai ward and 7 kilometers North East of Phan Thiet city. In spite of its small and medium size, it still condenses architectural and decorating art of the old Cham people, which creates unique and mysterious beauty. The group of temples and towers Po Sah Inu is one of the Cham towel groups to be integrally remained.
