The pagoda preserves 1,800 small and large Buddhist statues and great number of object made of clay. Moreover, the pagoda is famous for having four giant candles, each of which weighs 2000 kg. Two of the candle have been burned since the death of the head priest of the pagoda, Ngo Kim Tong, in 1970, and it has burned off only half of wax. These special things contribute to make the reputation of the pagoda and attract more tourists each year.
The second place to visit in Soc Trang that is Tan Long Stork Garden. It is an ideal destination to be close to the nature. There are tens of thousands of stork inhabiting on the top of trees in the garden. Tourists will have a chance to widen your mind and admire storks flying covering the sky. Particularly, in the afternoon, tourists can see so many storks flying back after a long day of finding food. They gather and make a white color covering the area, then thousands of storks make the noisy sound. Last but not least, Nga Nam Floating Market is another interesting experience to spend in Soc Trang. Floating market is the specialty of Mekong Delta River and Soc Trang is also one of the places that floating market is the main type of market. You can find many types of good in this place including rice, meat, fresh fruits and others.

The noodle is based on the method of Vietnamese, the ingredients of Khmer and the broth of Chinese. Pia Cake is the cake from China and it is distributed around Vietnam from Soc Trang.
