There are hundreds of fruit types, cheap and available everywhere, and also counltess ways of eating them.
Smoothies are everywhere in Vietnam, and we're not just talking strawberry-banana.
When people get bored of eating fresh fruit individually, one popular way is to mix or blend different fruits together, adding some more milk and sugar. We call that sinh to in general, or sinh to xay for well blended fruits (smoothie) and sinh to dam for small pieces of different fruit mixed well with milk and sugar in a glass.
Ingredients
1 Slice of Water Melon
1 Slice of Honey Due Melon
1 Slice of Pineapple
1 Slice of Papaya
1 Slice of White Dragon fruit
1 Slice of Jack fruit
1 Slice of Mango
2 Kiwis
Few Longans
Few grapes
2 tbsp of Coconut Milk
2 to 3 tbsp of Full cream condensed milk
1 tbsp of crushed ice (optional)
Method
Cut the fruits into bite sized chunks and arrange them in tall glasses as required.
Then add 2 tbsp of Coconut milk and 2 tbsp of Condensed milk along with some crushed ice into each of the glass and serve with a long dessert spoon.
NOTES
You can add any seasonal fruit to this dessert. Chikkoos and strawberries are good options too.
Refrigerate the fruits before you start preparing the dessert. This minimizes the waiting time.
Top up with more Condensed milk and Coconut milk if you prefer it sweeter.
