Truc Lam Zen Monastery

Located near to Tuyen Lam Lake, Truc Lam Zen monastery is 5 kilometers away from Da Lat City. It is the biggest Zen monastery in Vietnam with solemn architecture.

Zen Monastery is a place for many monks to study Buddhism and for domestic and foreign researchers to study about meditation. In addition, it attracts a lot of visitors. Coming to Truc Lam Zen Monastery, tourists can contemplate Buddha statues and enjoy tranquil space of the Plateau.

It is also well known as a place for everybody to purify. Especially, if you want to stay here a few days to learn about Buddhism or hide away from everyday worries and regain yourself, the monks will not refuse your request.

Love Valley

As far as five meters away from the center of Da Lat City, Love Valley is a very famous tourist attraction. Formerly, French called it “Valley d’ Amour”. In Bao Dai dynasty, it was called Hoa Binh valley. In 1953, it was officially called Love Valley.

Being a beautiful and charming place, Love Valley is an ideal place for not only couples but also families and friends to go for a picnic.

Lang Biang Mountain

Lang Bian mountain is the right place to go if you want to see the whole Dalat. The view on top is great.

Standing in downtown Da Lat on clear days visitors can see Lang Bian mountain range with its highest peak being at a latitude of 2,169m above sea level. The mountain is a challenge for people who are keen on going for a picnic or going camping.

Coming to Lang Biang, tourists can explore wonderful natural lanscapes or see brocade weaving in the daytime. In addition, they can have a small party with “Rượu cần” (wine drunk out of a jar through pipes) and traditional dance in the evening.

Tourists often choose Jeep to go to Lang Biang. However, if you like adventuring, you can conquer the peak of Da Lat City on foot.

Strawberry garden

The climate in Da Lat is temperate clime all year round, so Da Lat is an ideal place to grow many kinds of fruits, especially strawberry. The big red strawberries are grown all year round. However, its main crop is spring.

Tourists coming here will have a box to put strawberries they pick. Da Lat has two kinds of strawberry: sour and sweet. Sweet strawberries are smaller.

Voi waterfall (Elephant waterfall) – Linh An pagoda

Voi waterfall lies in Nam Ban town, Lam Ha district, being 25 kilometers from Da Lat City. This is an ideal place to relax in hot summer.

Voi waterfall is also called Lieng Rowoa that is very imposing with the height of over 30 meters and the width of about 40 meters. Beside the waterfall, there are rocks whose shape is similar to an elephant. Behind the waterfall, there are deep and mysterious caves like Doi Cave, Gio cave, etc.

Linh An pagoda is near Voi waterfall. This pagoda was founded by superior monk Thich Tam Vi in 1993. In the pagoda, there are many big Buddha statues sculptured sophisticatedly. The pagoda is not only a solemn place for Buddhists but also a favourite destination for travellers.
