The contest will be divided into two rounds. The qualifying round will take place at the Water Resources University on December 10-11 and the final round will be held at the Hanoi Cultural Palace in January 2010.
The organising board will award a special prize, including an Attila motorbike worth VND27 million and a scholarship of VND4.5 million. Two first, 2 second and 2 third prizes will also be awarded.
Registering for the contest will be from November 5-20 at website http://llv.edu.vn.
The singing contest is being organised by Language Link Vietnam (LLV) in coordination with the Vietnamese Students Cultural Centre.
