The closing ceremony featured songs and dances highlighting the land, people and indigenous culture of ethnic minority groups in the Central Highlands region.
Addressing the ceremony, Vice Chairman of the Dak Lak Province People’s Committee Nguyen Hai Ninh said that in a week filled with various activities, the two festivals had attracted nearly 25,000 visitors, including 3,000 foreigners.
The festivals reached their targets for promoting the brand of coffee from the Central Highlands region while unlocking Dak Lak’s room for tourism and high technology development.
Local people were encouraged to play as the major actor in twelve activities held under the framework of the two festivals, truly making the events festive days for Central Highlanders.
At the closing ceremony, outstanding collectives and individuals were awarded with certificates of merit from the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism for their contributions to the success of the festival.
