Ka Te festival 2013 of Cham people who adore Brahman in Ninh Thuan province will take place from 4 October

In this year, the weather is convenient for Cham people in Ninh Thuan province to have a good season of rice and corn so that the people spend a part of their expenditure to repair their houses and prepare for their 3 days in the Tet holiday.

Authorities, branches and delegations in the province created the favorite conditions for people to hold Ka Te festival in temples, towels as well as organize cultural, spiritual and sport activities to serve for festival in communities of Cham people.

This festival includes participations of The South women museum (in HCM city) with The research centre of Cham culture (Ninh Thuan) present subjects of traditional custom, jewelry of Vietnamese at the research centre of Cham culture and introduce items of Cham people, contributing to attract tourists to the Ka Te traditional festival of Cham people.

Also in this occasion, the People Committee and Ninh Thuan province committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front coordinated with districts and cities in the province to lead delegations to visit and give presents to honored people and families in preferential treatment policy.
