This pact follows similar Jetstar Group tie-ups with other airlines in the past year, including Air France/ KLM and marks Jetstar’s 21st such airline partnership. Bruce Buchanan, chief executive officer of Jetstar Group, said in a statement obtained by the Daily that the arrangement was to expand Jetstar’s Singaporean flying hub that serves destinations with convenient connections to its large Australian and Jetstar-brand carriers now have flights to and from HCMC and will connect these services to more destinations. Late last year, Jetstar launched a daily two-class A330 flight between Finnair’s intercontinental destinations in Finnair Vice President Alliances & Commercial Partnerships, Paavo Virkkunen, said in the statement that the interline agreement made travel to and from the destinations covered by the new partnership easy and convenient, and provided value for traveling customers. For the Finnair passengers traveling under the agreement, the low-fare Jetstar will offer them baggage allowance and complimentary onboard among others. |
