Over the past five years, the Ford Foundation of the US has helped Vietnam implement projects on improving professional skills for arts and cultural managers and lecturers.

According to the International Cooperation Department under the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the Ford Foundation helped Vietnam develop textbooks for arts and cultural management training courses and boost human resource development in order to promote cultural activities nationwide. The foundation also funded several projects on preserving cultural heritage and developing art performances.
