From 5th to 8 June 2011, Ninh Thuan province will hold Vietnamese coastal villages festival. This is an activity of great important meaning in forming the chain of tourism popularization, participating in the national tourist year of the South Central Coastal area – Phu Yen 2011.

According to the Organization Board, “ the Vietnamese coastal villages festival” is a chance for citizens of coastal villages in the region to introduce the local beauty, advertise potential and strength to develop coastal and island economy, especially sea travel and island travel in the future.  

The Vietnam National Administration of Tourism said that, the festival will be full of ethnic colors of people living in the region of the provinces of the South Central Coast.

The festival will perform the most special art programs, by the method of stage-innovation to introduce typical, unique and interesting features of the cultures of the South Central Coastal villages such as hat ba trao, the custom of worshipping ca ong, cau ngu, ho ve. The design, cooperating with ceramic villages of Cham Bau Truc and Cham Po Klong Girai tower connecting with sea travel and island travel to visit at the same time participating in other activities in the festival.

 Above all, the festival is a chance to discover and create the special marking points, advertising the trademark “ Ninh Thuan tourism” in the chain of sea and island travel in general, the South Central Coast in particular.
