April is coming, the summer tourism season is about to start. Travelers all over the world have already chosen a place for them to come in April and perhaps Da Nang and Hue are two of the top selections. Because in April, there are two big events taking place: Festival Hue 2012 and International Firework Competition in Da Nang.

1. Hue

Event: Festival Hue 2012

Time: April 7 to April 15, 2012

Information: Festival Hue with the theme: “Cultural Heritage with Integration and Development”, “Gathering world heritages and historical cities”

2. Da Nang

Event: International Firework Competition

Time: April 29 and 30, 2012

Information: the competitors are the winners from the past 4 years, including: David Whysall International Fireworks from Canada (2008), Dragon Dancing Fireworks from China (2009), the Jacques Couturier Organization from France (2010), and Parente Fireworks from Italy (2011) and Danang city

Activities: Firework performance, Flower garlands and colored lanterns festival on Han River; Folk games, night markets; cuisine corner; Memorial Store; street music; dancing festival; Culture-Cuisine-Tourism DIFC 2012 festival; and especially the “second Sparkling Vietnam character”
