Within one week from April 05 to 10, 2012, the third Ben Tre Coconut Festival officially opens and becomes the bridge between Ben Tre “oasis” and visitors everywhere.

Taking place in 5 main locations in Ben Tre city (Ben Tre district), the Festival includes many specific activities of the local people in Dong Khoi. With the slogan “Vietnam's Pride of Coconut region”, the Festival not only shows off coconuts but also many other activities such as coconut products exhibition, high quality Vietnamese goods trade fair, coconut path design art, cuisine festival, coconut garden sightseeing, enhancing coconut values seminar, honoring the coconut planters ceremony, handicrafts design from coconuts, beauty contest from the coconut region, and other community cultural activities.
