The Cave was discovered in 2005 but after 5 years of exploitation and construction, it was put into operation on September 03, 2010 by Truong Thinh Corporation.
The Cave is 60 kilometers far from Dong Hoi (Quang Binh) to the Northwest, located in the middle of Phong Nha – Ke Bang forest in Son Trach commune, Bo Trach district. Tourism Experts say Paradise Cave is even more sparkling and splendid than Phong Nha and Tien Son.
A local person named Ho Khanh stated that the Paradise Cave was discovered and right away took the attention of scientists, explorers and international communication.
The British Cave Research Association organized the exploration and declared the Cave is 31.4 kilometers long, 30 – 100 meters wide, the widest area is 150 meters, the height from the bottom to the Cave’s ceiling is 60 meters.
Dr. Howard Limbert, a member of the Association said this is the dry longest cave in Asia.
The distance from Ho Chi Minh road (to the west of the cave), location km16 to the Cave is 7 kilometers long. More than 6 kilometers is flat road on smooth ground and under the lush forest leaves with the cool blowing wind. 300 meters far from the Cave is a rocky road which requires the tourists to carefully pass the sharpening stones.
The mysterious and gigantic beauty of the cave satisfies the fastidious visitors who witness directly the cave in their own eyes.
The Paradise Cave has a 9.2 meter mouth. The ceiling is soaring and immense with two special giant stalactite pillars of 5 meter diameter, which look like the sky pillar with various shapes.
The beginning of the Cave is a stone arch which is tens of meter high and 100 meter wide
