Yaly Waterfall
Yaly Waterfall is located between Kon Tum and Gia Lai Province. It is 15km to the North of Pleiku city. On the way traveling from Gia Lai to Kon Tum, tourists in Vietnam travel will reach Yaly Waterfall, the most beautiful and largest Central Highlands’ waterfalls on Po Co. The road to Yaly Waterfall is now upgraded for more convenient to visitors.
Yaly Hydroelectricity
Come to the sunny and windy land of the central highlands, tourists will have chance to take a visit to Yaly hydro-electric power plant, the largest underground hydroelectric power plant in Vietnam. Yaly power plant is located in Ia Mo Nong Commune, Chu Pah District, Gia Lai Province, about 40km northwest of Pleiku city.
Yaly Hydroelectricity is lying on Se San River. Together with the surrounding landscapes, it makes a beautiful tourist site along Se San River. A new was built at Yaly Waterfall and has a design capacity of 720 MW. The construction and operation of Yaly Power Plant strongly had influences on the economy, culture and society of both Gia Lai and all Central Highlands. Significantly, this power plant is the main power-supplier for local villagers. It also plays an important role in boosting the cultural standards of ethnic people.
