A circus talent contest started on October 8 in Hanoi for 64 young circus performers from Cambodia, Laos and Vietnam.
All the competitors, aged between16-25, will compete in 21 acts including acrobatics, gymnastics and equilibritics through October 11.
The event attracted 14 performers from Cambodia and 15 others from Laos . The remaining 35 from Vietnam are professional artists from four circuses and an arts performing school.
Contestants might, by chance, choose to perform similar acts, yet that is an opportunity for them to show their competence, creativeness and performing skills, said the organising board.
The Indochina Circus Talent competition, held for the first time in Hanoi , is jointly organised by the Performing Arts Department, the Vietnam Stage Artist Association and the Vietnam Circus and Variety Arts College.
