The week will be organized to introduce the beauty of Mu Cang Chai’s terraced rice fields as well as promote the potential, strength and unique cultural characteristics of the Mong ethnic minority group in Yen Bai to both domestic and foreign tourists in Vietnam tourism.

Moreover, Mong weddings will be hosted at La Pan Tan Commune with full rituals and ceremonies in traditional costumes. There, tourists in Vietnam travel will have a chance to indulge in the animated atmosphere of the bridal families, to witness the welcoming of the bride, the offering ritual to forefathers and traditional wedding dishes.
Mu Cang Chai terraced rice fields, which are primarily situated in the district’s Che Cu Nha, La Pan Tan and De Zu Phinh villages, draw a large number of travelers who love to take pictures and indulge themselves in the amazing beauty of the national heritage site.
The interesting event is als the chance to promote Vietnamese culture in general and local cultures of Mong people in particular.
