In the afternoon of March 12, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Danang People’s Committee Vo Duy Khuong had a meeting with Yaroslavl’s management team (Russia Federation) leaded by Ms Liudmila Sopotova, Deputy Mayor of Yaroslavl to discuss, enhance the friendly relationship and cooperate with Danang city.

In the meeting, Mr Vo Duy Khuong had a talking about Da Nang’s social-economic overview and congratulated the successful Presidential Election in Russia Federation. Moreover, he expressed the desire to cooperate between Danang and local areas of Russia Federation including Yaroslavl city for stronger development in the future.

Through the tourism promotion and investment of Da Nang city in Russia recently, Mr Vo Duy Khuong believed the cooperation prospects in economy, tourism and education-training which had inherent potentials and advantages between two localities will be promoted specifically and effectively. On behalf of the team, Ms Liudmila Sopotova believed that this visit will make Yaroslavl city’s enterprises get more cooperation and investment opportunities in tourism, education and especially a special program with Da Nang University to train Russian language in general and Russian tourist guides in particular in order to carry out the commitments signed in 2011 by two localities.

Ms Liudmila Sopotova stated that right in April 2012, the enterprises and journalists of Yaroslavl city will take part in and promote the image of the Danang International Firework Competition 2012 (DIFC2012) held in Danang city to the Russian people. Therefore, there will be more chances to construct a direct flight between two places so as to attract more Russian tourists to Danang in the near future.
