Six Senses Con Dao resort (Vietnam) won over the final two rivals: Bulgari Hotel and Residences (United Kingdom) and Tower Hotel (Sweden) in the final competition.

On March 20, the Six Senses Con Dao resort became the best tourism resort to receive the prize at the International Exhibition for Real Estate MIPIM 2012, organized in Cannes city, France.

The Six Sense Con Dao resort was designed by the renowned designer team AW2, cooperating with Indochina Land investor. MIPIM jury examined and discussed about more than 100 projects all over the world including the under construction projects, the completed projects as well as the nearly launched projects to select the three final candidates in the final competition. These hundreds of projects supply the total view of the global market with representatives from 47 nations, including Vietnam, Uruguay, Spain, Serbia, Kazakhstan, Argentina, Brazil , Hong Kong, Sweden, the Netherlands and the United States. In addition to the jury's judge, the MIPIM participants attended a four day meeting to vote the winner.

Beside winning the MIPIM 2012 award, Six Senses Con Dao (Vietnam) resort received the prize “Green Design” and “The Best Design and Construction for small hotels” at the international real estate award ceremony gifted by the Chicago Athenaeum Museum of Architecture & Design (America) as well. Moreover, the resort was enrolled in “Hot List 2011” of the famous Conde Nast Travele magazine and highlighted on the cover page of the Travel + Leisure magazine (America) in “IT List 2011” Edition. Indochina investor was also recognized as one of the leading real estate developers in Vietnam with the title Vietnam's Best Developer in 2011.

The other featured projects beside Six Senses Condao resort was honored in many different awards: Golf Vietnam Magazine voted “Montgomerie Links Vietnam” as the best golf course in Vietnam; the luxurious resort “The Nam Hai” won the prize “The Best Leisure Resort in Asia” in a poll of the Asian leading online tourism magazine “Smart Travel Asia” in 2011.
